Brayden update

Brayden finally learned to spash in the bath. He would stay in the bath for an hour if the water would stay warm, and if i would let him...

Ummm, I don't think he is supposed to be rolling over yet. That's just not fair.

At Brayden's 2 month appointment he was 13 lbs 6 oz. Growing so fast. I love that he smiles all the time!

I didn't dress Brayden up, he had an orange "first halloween shirt" but I didn't get any pictures of it.

After trick-r-treating. They were very excited that there was still time to give out candy. Of course AJ doesn't know how to look normal in a picture! What is normal anyway?

Thanks Jorgenson's for pumpkins! The kids loved carving them, and I cooked them all up and put them in the freezer. I made some pumpkin cupcakes and they turned out amazing!

Brayden about 1 1/2 months old. Not sure if that's a smile or a frown, they are pretty similar.

We went to the Puyallup fair in September, the kids got to wear the fire coats and hold the hose.

Savanna broke her arm (run in with the monkey bars) on August 29th.

My birthday, we went to dinner, this is my cake. Oops, I blew out the candle before Shawn got a picture. And yes, we took pictures of each other, not with each other, hmmmm.

In June Savanna graduated from Kindergarten. She learned so much once we had moved to WA. She had a great teacher. She loves school, good thing cause she doesn't have a choice. . .

AJ doesn't take a nap anymore, but sometimes (most of the time) he really still needs a nap). This must have been one awesome bagel, cause he fell asleep with it in hand on the kitchen floor.

In June on our way back home from a trip, we stopped at an old mormon fort in Southern Utah.

Every so often, Savanna loses a tooth, happened to get a photo of this one.

Brayden after his bath, middle of the night on September 2nd, well probably the 3rd by then.

Fresh from heaven. He was born at 7 something in the evening, weighing in at only 8 lbs 6 oz and he was 20 inches long. My smallest baby yet! With any luck if we have any more they will get smaller each time! Haha.

Pretty sure this is the only photo of me taken when I was pregnant with Brayden, and that was in June! Oh well. This was at Cody's (Shawn's brother) wedding in Kanab, Utah. Brayden's blessing day, The Jorgensons (Bosted's, Benites') were all here except we were missing Daniel. Guess that truck (or car or whatever...) was a little more important! :>)

The kids all together. This is the only picture that turned out and for some reason, the kids were cut off on the sides. Oh well, what can I do?

Brayden loves his tummy. He'd choose it anytime (well almost-unless he's hungry).

Savanna went to a "deployement" at the youth center. She got her face painted there, it was so fun!

Birthday flowers!

Christmas in August (Shawn's going to miss three Christmas seasons by the time he gets back from Iraq (he missed last year) so we had a small Christmas celebration.

That would be a pea and a cucumber from the garden I helped plant in Kanab!

Savanna loved it! Finally, she's been too scared to get that close every other time we've been there!

Other veggies from the garden: Spaghetti squash, a whole bunch of radishes, a carrot that could have stayed in the ground a while longer, yellow squash, zucchini, and cucumber.

We went to Cici's pizza where they were having a special party and Savanna got a butterfly balloon and Elmo painted on her arm. AJ got a horse balloon, but was already asleep when I thought about taking pictures. Right after I took the picture, Savanna washed off her arm because "we don't wear tattoos to church" she said.

Gotta entertain yourself somehow on a 5 hour drive that should have been 3 1/2 hours! A word to the wise, don't drive to San Diego on a sunday evening.

Geneil and Josh let us stay the night Sunday night in San Bernardino! Thanks guys, you were awesome!

We dropped in on my cousin Anita for a quick visit. I haven't seen her in forever! Well, it seems like forever-maybe that's just cause I can't remember the last time I saw her!

Grocery Smarts

Let me explain my grocery shopping/coupon stuff a little more.
I go to this website: http://www.grocerysmarts.com/
It's a free website designed to match up sales with coupons that are available.
When I get those little packs of coupons in the mail, I write the date on them (it's on the fold) and place them in a clear protector sheet. I get Proctor and Gamble coupons, Red Plum coupons, and Smart Source coupons, among other misc. coupons from different sources.
The website that I go to has Albertons, Vons, Food 4 Less, among a few other grocery stores. When I am ready to go shopping, I go to the website-I choose to shop at Albertson's.
The website shows me what's on sale, including a star rating system that shows when it's a great sale, or just a good sale-based upon the regular price of "the walmart brand" for that product.
Most grocery stores work in 12 week cycles, so during a 12 week period, items will be on sale at least once. For instance, spaghetti will be on sale, maybe not the brand you would normally buy, but at least one spaghetti product will come on sale during that time.
A few keys:
Stock up on the item when on sale enough to last until the next time it will come on sale (12 weeks or so)
Never use a coupon on a full price item/Always use coupons when the item is on sale
You can use a store coupon and a manufacter coupon on the same item
The website shows the sales, then shows whether or not a coupon is available. A LOT OF THE COUPONS I USE, ARE PRINTED FREE ONLINE! I just had to download the free coupon printer software, so the barcode prints correctly.
If anyone has questions, please let me know, and I would be happy to help you out.
I am not an expert, just sharing things that I've learned, so maybe someone can find this advise useful! If anyone has more advise for me, please let me know too!!! Happy couponing!

I've been hearing a lot about how coupons can help save money on groceries, and I've really gotten excited about it. So, I got my list together last night. With many sales at Albertsons, and this is how it went.

I left the house at 8:30 with Savanna and headed to Albertson's. I haven't been to an Alberston's store since I was in college at BYU-Idaho, so it took a minute to look around the store and see where everything was.

First, I am going to show the commissary savings, because it was good, but not great.

Commissary:

Total cost: $41.53 Coupons: $7.65 Money spent: $35.96

Best Buys: 6 pack applesauce cups $.25, Chocolate ice cream topping $.30

Without counting the commissary shopping, the groceries cost $123.94 and saved $78.85 in coupons which is 64% savings, and that's just off the sale price, not including how much these items really cost every day. And I am also getting a $10 rebate for buying 10 kellogg's items in the mail along with a $70 coupon for dell.

I've had a great day, and I plan to keep getting more for my money!

Chicken Pot Pie:
Make some kind of stew with chicken meat.
I used a can of carrots, stewed tomatoes, potatoes, corn, beans. I think that it. I added cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth-if it's too thick.
Self-rising flour:
8 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup baking powder
1 Tablespoon and 1 teaspoon salt
mix together-I put it into a #10 can and then shake it up a little.
Mix 2 cups of the self rising flour, 1 2/3 cups milk, and 1/4 cup margarine.
Pour over top of the stew and bake at 400 degrees for about 1/2 hour-until the top is brown.

A friend introduced me to this website, and it's amazing! My total at the commissary yesterday came to $35, then after my $17 in coupons, I only paid $18! I am very excited about saving money!

The birthday party! We had a few of Savanna's friends over to celebrate her 4th birthday! It was so much fun. Isaac, his mom JoLynn, his little brother Dax. Will and James were there with their parents Emily and Will, and Athena was there with Jessica! It was a blast, thanks all for coming and the fun we had.

I guess i wasn't fast enough as candle "re-lighter" and photographer, I missed the entire happy birthday song on my camera, but here is a picture!

I have been working on some quilts for a humanitarian project that our ward is doing. We are making 100 quilts. I know the young women are tying them, and I am not sure who is sewing them together, but we were asked to make the quilt tops out of fabric that someone had donated. It was pretty fun designing and then putting these quilts together, I am glad that I am finished though, so now maybe I can get back to my housework! This was my favorite one because of the zoo animals. As you can see, I used the extra yellow checkered fabric from the blue and yellow quilt below.

This one is just plain ugly, but I'm sure someone will be very warm using it.

I did this one first, so it probably turned out the worst, I get better as I go along. . . But, it's still better than that pink and purple one!

Well, I thought I'd put up AJ's measurements from his 18 month appointment on monday. I know mom will want to know!
26 lbs 8 oz 62% he gained a little over 2 pounds in 2 months

We are so thankful for daddy and all the hard work he does to keep our country safe! We are especially thankful for his safe return from Iraq!

A beautiful day at the park! It's been windy a lot lately, but the temperature is wonderful! So, we like to spend a lot of time at the park, on this particular day, we played with Will and James Bennett.

If you listen real close, you can hear Savanna say, "William Ford" and a couple seconds later, "James Kent!!!" Hilarious!

AJ and Athena were laughing uncontrollably about nothing in particular, but of course I couldn't catch that part on video!! That would just be too easy! But this is just as cute!

Even my little boy enjoys a tea party! I think he really liked looking at the "recipe book." It was so cute every time savanna "poured" some into his cup, he would put it up to his mouth and make some kissing noises (slurping).

And while Savanna was talking on the phone to her "hunny" she was asking when her hunny would be coming home to take care of the baby. . . .

Peek-A-Boo

Just another day at the park! Spring is finally here! Although this weekend has been windy and cold, it's been in the 80s all last week! It's beautiful!
Savanna dressed herself for church today! Decked out with 2 shirts, a cute skirt and flip flops.

After we came home from the park this morning, Savanna was hungry, so she made herself a sandwich without ANY help. Here it is, cream cheese and mozzarella!

So excited about it!

Geneil and Josh came into town and spent yesterday evening and this morning with us, we stopped by the plane park on base just before they left.

AJ all decked out in his new church attire that I got from the Airman's attic-2 full outfits, never been worn-including white shirt, tie, vest and pants! In his size, perfect!

I put together this little table runner thing the other night! Turned out beautiful!

AJ got pretty darn tired after coloring out pillowcase for daddy, he was just sitting here for a little while, so I thought it'd be perfect for a picture!

Savanna got shrek!

They even fed everyone lunch, it was great! Mac-n-cheese, chicken nuggets, egg rolls, and much more, they even had cake and ice cream as well as popsicles!

I pushed AJ all the way in cause he kept climbing up on the table.

Even big girls cry sometimes, I can't remember now why she was crying, but she's all better now!

In church-sacrament meeting yesterday the Relief Society and the Young Women sang a musical number.
We sang A Child's Prayer. We've been practicing for a couple weeks during the practice hymn time in RS.
It was pretty good. . .
Well, the thing is everyone doesn't have someone to watch their children while we sang. . .
Okay, so I was probably the only one who sang that didn't have someone to watch their kids. BUT. . .
I brought "special" snacks hoping my kids would stay in the bench-fruit snacks, which usually works, but I guess not this time.
So, by the time we started singing, AJ was already out in the middle of the isle looking for me.
Knowing that I was probably up with all the other women, he walked up to the stand. I can't believe someone didn't pick him up before they did, but oh well.
IMAGINE THIS:
An 18 month old little boy walking around looking for his mother.
Blanket in one hand being dragged behind and fruit snacks in the other! I can't remember if he had his pacifier or not, maybe that too, actually probably. Haha
He made it all the way up to the stage and the visiting high councilman picked him up and held him 'till we were finished.
You'd think being a military ward someone would have thought about the fact that my husband is deployed, but I guess not.
It was pretty funny!

Well, actually church was really good. I don't think I'll be answering my phone for a couple weeks unless I know who is calling though! Our RS president was released and no one was called in her place! Haha again.
And for once, I made it through church WITHOUT having to change a poopy diaper.
I told AJ before church that he wasn't allowed to poop till we got home! I guess he knew what I was talking about! HAHA again, again!

I guess I better get my house cleaned up! I've got a lot to do before Shawn gets back which could be soon, hopefully sooner than later!

We are trying to stay busy and pass a little more time before Shawn gets home. Good news though: the new group that is relieving Shawn's group is now in Iraq! Yay, that means Shawn could be home in a few weeks.

I guess it's time I update my blog. I'm tired of looking at the same old thing everytime i get on! We went to Kanab last week and spent a lot of time at the park. It was so fun and great to get out of the big city for a couple days! If you look on the back part of the airplane, you will see USAF!

AJ can finally play on things by himself. He didn't want to get off the airplane. Sorry, it's windy so the video isn't the best.

The "other" Kanab park, and I think the better one, but the kids liked the older one better!

AJ had so much fun climbing on everything. He wasn't so fond of being pushed down the slide though!

AJ walked through this opening at least 10 times before he got bored and did something else, pretty good for a little boy!

I wanted to get a video of him playing the piano, but all he wanted to do was look at the camera and say "cheese!"

He can't get down off the bench, so he would sit there forever just playing away!

We went to the Ethel M Chocolate factory in Henderson. . . After taking the "scenic" route! Haha-the construction route!

Savanna is "reading" one of the signs at the cactus garden. It was pretty funny. I guess she thought the signs said not to touch the cactus!! Haha.

Sorry, I forgot to take pictures in the chocolate factory, so all you get is pictures from the cactus garden. And water fountain-which I am pretty sure is the waste water from the factory!

I guess I lied, I did take a picture inside the chocolate factory!

We got our first "pets." A friend who was moving gave us their 3 fish. According to Savanna the brown one is lettuce, I can't remember the other names and she is asleep already.

Kanab

I will be in Kanab this week. . . So, I may not get to post, or I may get to post more than usual! You just never know!
Church today was interesting. Well, the kids are doing better at church since now they are adjusted to new classes and a new ward. AJ has started going to nursery. He does great. He's not actually 18 months until the end of March, but his teachers don't mind, they are fabulous!
There was just a slight problem today. About 1/2 way through Relief Society, his teacher brought him to me and said he had a little accident. I was like, accident? He wears diapers. Then I looked at his back. Too bad their aren't bath tubs at the church cause he really could've used one! I'd post pictures, but I don't want to gross too many of you out!!! Haha, just kidding, I didn't take any. I warmed the water up in the sink in the handicapped restroom-cause that was the closest to the RS room. His shirt and pants were completely un-usable. I put him in that tiny little sink and he pluged the drain for me! So, I got him all cleaned up, he was wearing only his socks and shoes. I decided I better keep him with me, so I took him into RS and caught the last 10 minutes of the lesson and the closing hymn.
That was his second BM since he had eaten breakfast, so lets just say he was hungry. Good thing I had snacks today.
He must have been tired too, cause he was asleep about a minute after we got in the car.
I haven't really been cooking sunday meals, we just have something small, but today I decided to throw some rice and chicken in the crockpot. It was SO GOOD!!!!!
I used a large can of cream of chicken soup-the wal-mart brand, stirred in one can full (the same can that had the soup in it) of milk and added about 1 1/2 cups rice. I just used the 1 cup to measure, so I don't know for sure. I stirred that all together really well. Then threw in a couple chicken tenders-not chicken nuggets, the frozen chicken kinda like chicken strips. Turned the crockpot on high and went to church.
It was still pretty runny when we got home, but after cooling it thickened way up.
It was really good. I guess that means I haven't been cooking good food enough!
Well, I better end my rambling before you fall asleep. As I should be doing. After I pack, wash the dishes and clean up the floor since I will be gone all week........

Valentine's Day

My sister-in-law Kelley came down for a little "vacation" and we watched her daughter for a couple days. I got this walker for Elena, but I think AJ thought it was for him. It was pretty funny after he climbed in cause he couldn't get out, so he picked it up and walked in the kitchen so I could help him get out! Haha, crazy little boy.

Savanna loved helping with Elena, she especially liked feeding her. At least until she passed bubbles out the wrong end, and then it was definitely mom's turn!

So, AJ is trying to hold Elena, and Savanna looks like she ______ (fill in the blank), but this is the best picture I got of all three of the cousins. I guess I've been successful at getting 2 kids to look at the camera at the same time, but 3 is a little too much for me, I guess I need to practice more!

I made heart pancakes the day before Valentine's Day.

We had a Valentine's party and invited some of Savanna's friends over to decorate cookies and make pretzels. Of course I did this really so I could have my friends over and be able to talk to someone taller than 4 feet (well most of the ladies were taller) HAHA just kidding!

I got lazy and the dough was rising, so I rolled it out and made some into hearts.

Well, we got this little ducky bath mitt, and the kids love to play with it! AJ even moves his fingers like the "ducky" should! So, I thought in all my free time I should take some pictures.

My handsome little guy. It was so cold today, and by that I mean less than 50 degrees! Haha, so we were all bundled up. We've had rain the last 3 days and it's been really windy, which of course the wind is nothing new to "the windy city" but the rain doesn't happen very often.

You can see AJ's hands moving cause Ducky moves inside that fabric! Sorry for the nudity!

I got my taxes done today-the base has a tax office that does them for free! SO WORTH THE TIME IT TOOK. . . Read on:

My appointment was at 1230, so I figured I go a little early just in case they weren't running behind. Well, I didn't have to wait at all, and went right back to the office where the consultant puts all the information into the computer.

Then you go back to the waiting area while the "real" tax professional goes over the return to make sure everything looks kosher.

At about 340, I left the office, my taxes were done! Which included Schedule A, C and E! Rental property, and home daycare business. There is no way I would have been completed with them without paying someone. So, I highly recommend you (if you live at Nellis AFB-which is where I am) call and get an appointment-which right now is not until the middle of March, so if you want them done quick, maybe you should go pay for it! Ha, I wouldn't ever do that!

Also, if you live in Las Vegas, I'd like to invite you over on Saturday to decorate valentine cookies. We are doing it from 10-12, so come on over-let the kids play and get messy and well live!. . . But just for my info, please can you hit me up with a comment or email so I can have enough stuff for everyone!

Okay, so this is really old, but I was looking through some pictures, since I don't have any new ones to post. This is at the WA DC visitor's center. I made some waffle cookies. They typically have chocolate frosting too, but I used white chocolate chips, and food coloring to make them more festive. I also shaped the waffle cookies into hearts.

Waffle Cookies: By Sandy Peterson

3 squares chocolate or 9 Tbsp (1/2 cup and 1 Tbsp) cocoa and 3 Tbsp butter or oil

2 cubes butter or margarine

4 eggs

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup nuts, optional

Melt butter and chocolate together. Beat eggs and sugar, then add in the chocolate and butter. Mix well. Add in flour, vanilla, salt, and nuts-if desired. Drop by teaspoonful onto hot waffle iron. Cook about 1 minute-they cook really fast. Remove waffle cookie with a fork and frost before they are totally cool. I used three Tbsp batter per cookie and arranged them so they would spread together in the shape of a heart when I closed the lid-2 on top next to each other and one on bottom in the middle of the top two.

Frosting: Mix chocolate, butter, milk and powdered sugar to make a creamy fairly thick frosting.

I used 3 Tbsp white choc chips, melted with 2 Tbsp butter. Mixed in 2 cups powdered sugar, and enough milk to make it creamy. I added red food coloring.

I took AJ to nursery today, even though he's not 18 months until the end of March, but I figure it's either I walk the halls, or I take him and hopefully get him used to it by the time he is 18 months! He did very well, but he also has been going through a separation anxiety phase, maybe cause his dad is gone, and now he thinks his mom is going to leave him?!?!? Who really knows, but he goes to a friends house while I volunteer at an on base helping agency 3 days a week. . . So, he is getting better, but lots of times he still cries when I leave.

Well, I guess I better get the dishes done! My kids are STILL sleeping-AJ went down after church around 3, and Savanna went down about 4. I should get them up, but I think they might just be catching up from going to bed late yesterday. It is now 730 and AJ is still sleeping, Savanna woke up at 7! She is still tired though, so I know she will go back down soon. I don't know if AJ will wake up or not, maybe he will just sleep through the night!

There are a lot of parks in the housing area. . . at least 6 that I can count right off the top of my head, so we've been going to play a lot to keep busy. Plus there is usually someone else there, so the kids can play together! After he went down, he wanted to climb back up, which he cannot yet do. . . Not without trying though, one of these days he is going to walk right on up.

Crazy Chocolate Delight

Savanna REALLY wanted to make some chocolate cake! She was so proud. After it was done, she got a cloth and took the cake out of the microwave and took it over to the table. It did run over the cup a litte, but was really easy to clean up! We used just an egg white, and it was way better than the last time, I also added more chocolate chips.

Well, it's 9:22 and we are all ready to go to church, but we can't because it doesn't start until 11. . . So, here I am posting something. . .
We went to a fun Valentine craft event for deployed families yesterday. The kids had so much fun. . .

I caught AJ climbing up on the chair and table!
AJ learned how to play peek-a-boo, well he puts his hands over his eyes. It's pretty cute.
They made time capsules with wood, nails, hammer, stickers. It was so fun. Savanna did a very good job and loved using the hammer. AJ mostly just watched, but he thought banging with the hammer was pretty fun too.

Savanna made a candy necklace.

We made foam door hangers with stickers, and glitter glue paint. We also made a gift bag to carry all the things we made, and frosted cookies, of course both kids ate theirs right away!

AJ's room is ready, not that he hasn't been sleeping in it, but I am just now getting photos up.

This is Savanna's bed when we have visitors over who sleep in her normal bed.

Help! I need to find the directions for this game. . .
I think we had one like it when I was younger, but I can't remember what it's called.
Anyway, I got this at DI for 2 bucks, and it had every single marble with it.
If anyone knows how the game works, please pass it on!!!! Last night for dinner, I tried some recipes that my cousin had put up on her blog. Thanks NaDell. . . Dinner was awesome!
We are not big meat eaters, so we made Alfredo Sauce and had it with tortelloni. We had steamed broccoli (cooked a little too long) and cheese sauce, which my kids aren't too fond of, they like the broccoli just fine without anything on it. I do too, but I had some left over that I wanted to use up.
The kids ate everything right up. . .

Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:-
1/4 cup Butter-
1 cup Heavy Cream(substitute-melt 1/3 cup butter in microwave, add 3/4 cup milk, 1 Tablespoon Flour to thicken.)-
1 clove Garlic (I actually used about 1/2 teaspoon of Garlic Powder)-
1/2 cups Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese (I actually used the powdered Kraft kind)-
1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley (I actually used about 2 Tablespoons of dry parsley)Instructions:
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley and serve.

I cooked mine a little longer after adding the parsley so it could cook a little. Other than that I did it just the same as she did.
It was really good and not too rich like some alfredo sauces are!

5-MINUTE MUG CAKE RECIPE
4 TBSP flour
4 TBSP sugar
2 TBSP baking cocoa (dry powder)
1 egg
3 TBSP milk
3 TBSP oil
3 TBSP chocolate chips
a small splash of vanilla
Instructions:
No need to spray or grease mug.
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly
Pour in milk and oil, mix well.
Add chocolate chips and vanilla, mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for THREE minutes @ 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, don't be alarmed!
Dump out on plate if desired after cooking (it will almost split in half, so you could share it with another person if you wanted).
We sprinkled ours with powdered sugar.

I don't know how many watts my microwave is, but I cooked it for 3 minutes, and it was perfect. We dumped it out on a plate and cut it into 3 slices. The kids loved it. It does cook up above the top of the mug, but not over. . .

Well, for all of you waiting, not that there are any of you, I finally found my cord for my camera, so here goes the last week or so!

I think AJ would have pushed this around and around and around. . .
One room down. . . Well, I kinda got this all unpacked. I guess the computer doesn't really go well in a dining room, but rather than a bedroom, I thought this would be a good choice. Also if you notice, the placemats that lisa made for me a couple years ago, and the table runner from Mom last year around Valentine's day! Thanks for your loving from the sewing machine!

OKAY, so I watched my son climb up on this chair, then proceed to feed the baby the bottle as well as himself!!! He gets down okay, but now he wants to climb up on the table too. . . I think I better keep the chairs pushed in!

Like my cousin's wife, I also had to get my kids all ready for church by myself. You'd think it would get easier the more you do it, but no, it doesn't. We got a couple pictures snapped then headed off to church, luckily our church is at 11, so we usually have time to spare!

Well, the other day the kids were in the bath, and I ran in the kitchen real quick. I heard Savanna say AJ got out, then I turn to come see what's going on on there comes AJ running down the hall. . . So, I got his towel, dried him off and got his diaper on. I went back in to see what Savanna was doing. Then as I was cleaning the toilets, he managed to get back in the tub. Let's just say diapers hold a lot of water!

Last Sunday Grandma Kacky was here with us and she did AJ's hair! He is such a handsome little guy!

Well, in the move I still haven't uncovered the hiding place of my camera cord so I can post photos from the last forever. . .
BUT, my friend asked me to come take some pictures at the place she works, so here goes!!!

Can you tell my son has a piece of pretzel in his mouth!! Oh well, cute smile anyway!

We got this shot the first time. . . the first shot. . . the first sit. . . Well, lets just say we are very happy with the photos!

If anyone is wondering. . . We got these photos taken at Kiddie Kandids. It was in the mall in Henderson, but I think a lot of Toys R Us and Babies R Us may have them inside the store. That's where we got our family pictures last fall. I highly recommend this place. They print the pictures right there, and they are ready in 10 minutes. It's great!

Hopefully I will find my cord soon, so I can update from the past couple weeks!!!

We are moving to Las Vegas tomorrow.

Lola

We went to visit my Grandma Zora Nash Crowther's cousin yesterday. Her name is Lola Ottley. Lola lives in Kanab, UT which is where we are currently living with Shawn's parents. She loves to have the kids come and the kids love to go and play with her toys.

The kids like to play with Lola's walking stick.

From the first day we went to visit Lola, AJ found her sweeper vacuum thing, and ever since then he plays with it every time we go there.

Savanna and AJ and Lola play catch with this green soft ball.

Lola loves to sing to AJ and let him "dance" on her leg.

AJ got this dump wagon for Christmas-I didn't know it was for kids, I thought it was just for toys to go in!!! But, he sure likes to be pulled around in it!

AJ likes to sweep, vacuum, mop and especially mess up the pile that we already swept up!

I went to get AJ from his nap one day and I guess there is a lot of static around here!

Well, I got my camera out and ready to put some recent pictures up, but I am not sure where my cord is, so I decided that I will probably wait until I get down to Las Vegas and get my computer set up there.
We will be moving in on Thursday January 8th, and moving big stuff in on Saturday! We hope it all goes well, we are very excited!
