Happy Mothers Day!

Just a little wish to all you out there, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

AJ learned a couple new words this week, they are getting quite funny, he learned cheerio, milk, and broccoli!

We went to Lake Mead yesterday and played at the "beach." That was very fun! Sorry, I didn't take any pictures!

A shout out also to my mom, who had a birthday yesterday! Love you mom, hope it was wonderful. Thanks for all the wonderful things you've done for me over the years. You are the best!

I LOVE MY HUSBAND!

My husband brought me flowers today! That might be all I get for Mothers Day, so hooray! I love you Shawn!

Pay it forward

I know I've already done this, but I just feel like doing it again!
The first 3 people to leave a comment on this blog will receive something made by me.
However there are some limitations
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done this year.
4. You have not clue what it is going to be, poetry, shoes, bags or a little invention of my own. I may bake something and mail it you . Who knows? Not you that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. It may blow your mind!
Here the catch, if you choose to do this. You must post this on your blog and be ready to make something for 3 people too. This will be fun! When you receive the fabulous item I make you, you must post a picture of it on your blog.

Just a sample of what I did for my last one!

CRAZY AJ

This is a video of AJ walking about a week ago, I don't know where he learned this from, but he sure enjoyed it!

What a crazy little boy. Somehow he managed to get his slice of cheese stuck in his hair.
And this would be the mess he made about 5 minutes after I swept and mopped the floor.

I guess I took a lot of pictures of my cheese-head! HAHA

And this is how much AJ loves olives!

And finally, this is what happens when you give a little boy a twix in the car when it's almost 100 degrees outside! He didn't even eat the twix, but he sure made a mess!

Quilts

I have been working on some quilts for a humanitarian project that our ward is doing. We are making 100 quilts. I know the young women are tying them, and I am not sure who is sewing them together, but we were asked to make the quilt tops out of fabric that someone had donated. It was pretty fun designing and then putting these quilts together, I am glad that I am finished though, so now maybe I can get back to my housework! This was my favorite one because of the zoo animals. As you can see, I used the extra yellow checkered fabric from the blue and yellow quilt below.

This one is just plain ugly, but I'm sure someone will be very warm using it.

I did this one first, so it probably turned out the worst, I get better as I go along. . . But, it's still better than that pink and purple one!
