A little tired?????

Well, between no nap and partying, Savanna fell asleep on the couch yesterday about 5 minutes after she laid down! I guess she was tired!
One of the dresses Grandma Kacky made for Savanna, I added the sleeves since Savanna was here and Grandma was not here! Thanks Momma

Fun adventures, hair cut day

The birthday party! We had a few of Savanna's friends over to celebrate her 4th birthday! It was so much fun. Isaac, his mom JoLynn, his little brother Dax. Will and James were there with their parents Emily and Will, and Athena was there with Jessica! It was a blast, thanks all for coming and the fun we had.

I guess i wasn't fast enough as candle "re-lighter" and photographer, I missed the entire happy birthday song on my camera, but here is a picture!
These are the mini cupcakes that I made, they were so cute! I think this stand is supposed to be for candles, but what do you know, it worked perfect for mini cupcakes!
Poor little guy, daddy's a meanie!

Daddy bought a slip-in-slide today, We will definitely get a lot of use out of this!

AJ got his first hair cut today! He needed it REAL bad! Shawn wanted to give him a mohawk, but I guess I messed it up! Oops, sorry honey!

He liked the buzzers, I guess he got his free head massage for the year!

How can you be scared of your own poop!?!?!?!?!?!?? Pretty funny,

I asked the kids to help me take this tub filled with fabric back to AJ's room, and they did just that!

Garden update-the radishes
beans, carrots, peas, a few peppers that probably won't produce anything, but they are still hanging in there, trying!
Broccoli
Zuccini, I am pretty sure, but maybe cucumbers

How many kids can we get into one bed!

Happy Mothers Day!

Just a little wish to all you out there, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

AJ learned a couple new words this week, they are getting quite funny, he learned cheerio, milk, and broccoli!

We went to Lake Mead yesterday and played at the "beach." That was very fun! Sorry, I didn't take any pictures!

A shout out also to my mom, who had a birthday yesterday! Love you mom, hope it was wonderful. Thanks for all the wonderful things you've done for me over the years. You are the best!

I LOVE MY HUSBAND!

My husband brought me flowers today! That might be all I get for Mothers Day, so hooray! I love you Shawn!

Pay it forward

I know I've already done this, but I just feel like doing it again!
The first 3 people to leave a comment on this blog will receive something made by me.
However there are some limitations
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It will be done this year.
4. You have not clue what it is going to be, poetry, shoes, bags or a little invention of my own. I may bake something and mail it you . Who knows? Not you that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. It may blow your mind!
Here the catch, if you choose to do this. You must post this on your blog and be ready to make something for 3 people too. This will be fun! When you receive the fabulous item I make you, you must post a picture of it on your blog.

Just a sample of what I did for my last one!

CRAZY AJ

This is a video of AJ walking about a week ago, I don't know where he learned this from, but he sure enjoyed it!

What a crazy little boy. Somehow he managed to get his slice of cheese stuck in his hair.
And this would be the mess he made about 5 minutes after I swept and mopped the floor.

I guess I took a lot of pictures of my cheese-head! HAHA

And this is how much AJ loves olives!

And finally, this is what happens when you give a little boy a twix in the car when it's almost 100 degrees outside! He didn't even eat the twix, but he sure made a mess!

Quilts

I have been working on some quilts for a humanitarian project that our ward is doing. We are making 100 quilts. I know the young women are tying them, and I am not sure who is sewing them together, but we were asked to make the quilt tops out of fabric that someone had donated. It was pretty fun designing and then putting these quilts together, I am glad that I am finished though, so now maybe I can get back to my housework! This was my favorite one because of the zoo animals. As you can see, I used the extra yellow checkered fabric from the blue and yellow quilt below.

This one is just plain ugly, but I'm sure someone will be very warm using it.

I did this one first, so it probably turned out the worst, I get better as I go along. . . But, it's still better than that pink and purple one!
